VUB Firewall upgrade on 10 April 2025

The update has been postponed to April 14 between 08:00 and 10:00.

On April 10th between 8:00 and 10:00 the VUB network team will upgrade the VUB firewall. This may cause short internet interuptions in the HPC cluster, and longer interruptions of the VSC link.

During the interruptions, VUB users will not be able to connect to the other VSC Tier-2 hubs, and non-VUB users will not be able to connect to the VUB-HPC hub. Running jobs on other clusters will not be impacted unless your jobs need access to $VSC_DATA or $VSC_HOME.
