We are pleased to announce our next on-premise HPC training session, in cooperation with the Vlaams Supercomputer Centrum (VSC).

This training session will be a hands-on introductory course focusing on young and/or early stage researchers (Doctoral students, Master thesis students) with practical sessions on HPC job preparation, submission and monitoring. The Hydra cluster as well as the VSC organisation will be described.
Practical Information#
No prior HPC experience required, basic Linux knowledge is a plus. For practical reasons, the Hydra cluster will be used throughout the course.
The registration form provides information and preliminary requirements for attending the sessions. Please read them carefully and make sure to be ready prior to the sessions.
Participants must bring their own laptop. Students can borrow a laptop from VUB free of charge.
