LUMI user training#
On November 23 and 24 2022, HPE Center of Excellence and the LUMI User Support Team organize a hybrid training (Brussels & online) titled “Detailed introduction to the LUMI-C environment and architecture”. Information about the event, agenda, venue, travel and accommodation can be found here: https://www.lumi-supercomputer.eu/events/detailed-introduction-to-the-lumi-c-environment-and-architecture/.
Please register using the following link before November 16, 2022 16:00 CET: https://ssl.eventilla.com/lumi-c-brussels.
The course only covers the CPU section of LUMI. Early next year, depending on availability of the (AMD) GPU section, an additional course will be given about specific tools for the GPU section of LUMI, but even for those users familiarity with LUMI before that course is a plus, so this course is even useful for you if you’re only interested in the GPU section.
Users working for a Belgian institution can gain access to LUMI either via EuroHPC which focuses on tier-0-level projects, and a Belgian allocation program, which focuses on projects with a level somewhere between the Tier-1 programs in Flanders and Wallonia and the EuroHPC Tier-0 programs.
Information on LUMI is available on https://lumi-supercomputer.eu/. Information on the Belgian participation in LUMI is available on https://www.enccb.be/LUMI.
Participants who do not yet already have a userid on LUMI will receive a userid with a minimal allocation for use during the course days only.
