Hydra-VSC network failure

14:30 The firewall has been repaired, and the connections between Hydra and the other VSC clusters are again working.

On May 4th in the evening there was a major hardware failure on the core firewall at the new datacenter where Hydra is hosted. Due to that, all connections between Hydra and the other VSC clusters are broken.

This means that you will not be able to login to any of the other Tier2 VSC clusters and the old Tier1, Breniac. The new Tier1, Hortense is still accessible, but access to $VSC_HOME and $VSC_DATA is lost. Hydra itself remains fully operational.

The VUB network team is doing its best to fix the issue as soon as possible.
