HPC tutorial

The HPC tutorial provides more in-depth training material, including numerous examples and best practices. The tutorial is geared toward beginners, advanced users, and software developers.

Linux tutorial

The Linux tutorial has been developed by the VSC, tailored towards VUB and ULB researchers, for use on Hydra.

Training courses

The SISC-HPC team regularly organizes general Linux and HPC training courses (usually twice per year). The trainings are announced by email to all Hydra users, and also on our news page: https://hpc.vub.be/news.php Recent training slides can be downloaded here:

Additional trainings are organized at other sites in Belgium. Both ULB and VUB users can follow the trainings organized by VSC and CECI for free. The European PRACE partnership also regularly organizes trainings, many of which can be followed online:
